A 11 Initiative recently published a “Guide for protection of personal data intended to CSOs dealing with social protection issues”. During the last year, A 11 Initiative also participated in media monitoring project with the aim to explore the extent of respect of personal data protection in the media in Serbia, especially towards the most vulnerable groups. The results of the monitoring will be published soon.

A 11 Initiative’ main super power is recognizing that social inequalities are consequences of failure of the political system rather than a matter of individuals’ responsibility.

Vasa Prava’s (VPBiH) core mission is to promote civil, socio-economic, cultural and human rights and to provide fair access to justice for the realization of those rights. VPBiH promotes individual human rights, helps to build a legal system that holds the government to account and advocates for systemic changes to address real problems. It is helping to build an active civil society and a culture of rights; most fundamentally, VPBiH is playing a vital role in making recovery-oriented legal reforms a reality for Bosnia’s disadvantaged, dispossessed and disenfranchised populations.

OUR CONTENT/PROJECT/ETC WE THINK IS RELEVANT FOR THE NETWORK
|
Over the past few years VPBiH has established a strong foothold in the justice sector through the participatory monitoring and assessment of the policy making processes and the implementation of the reform agenda. These efforts have paved the way for further, more proactive actions primarily aimed at streamlining the reform processes through strengthening the coordination and consultation between different justice sector stakeholders. VPBiH has created a comprehensive review of the state of the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a special focus on assessing the state of the active rule of law, which includes an analysis of the content quality of the positive regulations and their proper application in practice. While many of BiH’s institutions and organizations are divided along ethnic and political divisions, VPBiH reaches important stakeholders and beneficiaries throughout the whole country.
